The New Significant Relationship Thread

Woo!

What started as a friendship is well into that wild, didn't-think-I'd-be-feeling-this-way-again phase.

Yep it's new, or at least unexpected.
Yep it's exciting.
Yep it's been too long.

She's open, honest, fearless, curious - all more than anyone I've known. And she digs me.

Here's a toast, to anyone else close to giving up on finding a meaningful relationship in this life: if there's hope for me... Cheers.

Oh man, it's funny that the first thing i think is: "Be careful..."

/sigh.

in the "significant other" category, I gave up years ago.

but meaningful relationships in general... well those I have in bountiful plenty.

Best wishes in your new foray into "significant othership"!

Believe me, the scared voice in my head is still saying "BE CAREFUL".

That's where I was. I finally gave up again and became receptive. :) No small assist from this woman who's able to see right through the junk.

It's taken me a long time to get in touch with my cycles. To keep old junk from interfering with new. Not that the process will ever end, but for now I'm ok with taking chances.

My SO and I will be celebrating our 2-year anniversary this Sunday.

Two years?! Where did they go?!

Good luck, cyrnel...

i met my boyfriend where i work now as a server (ha waitress) at a diner in town, he had come in from the rain because he was riding his bicycle home from school, and he came in and wanted hot chocolate haha

that was when we were 16 and 18, he was a senior and i was a sophmore in high school and we sat and talked for the longest time while the rain was still raining, and he said he hd seen me in school and asked me out right there, and we were together until he passed away about 6 months ago, he was 23, i loved him very much

and dont worry sweety youll find another one soon, we may not be able to hold on to every love forever but i truly believe there is a reason for it all and thats what gives me strength, and i hope for you to
