I havnt had any problems with mine. I always leave em in, and make myself get up and take em out. It is nice to see.

One point however, Visine and contacts do not go together. Im not sure what it does. but it says so on the bottle.

No troubles with mine.

I never used Visine. Contacts are a great excuse for red eyes.

Your eyes might feel dry do to all the smoke. Sometimes my hard lenses would feel funky. But my soft ones are usually okay, but you know have contact stuff with you just in case they do bug ya and your trusty glasses! Also I hate peeling off my eyes in the morning when I fall asleep in them!

Regular Visine* works by constricting the blood vessels in your eyes, which is how it "gets the red out". This also reduces the amount of oxygen supplied to your eyes. Since contact lenses also reduce oxygen transmission, you don't want to put these two together.

* There is a "dry eyes" version of Visine that is simply a lubricant, and does not remove red eyes.
