not eating enough on diet need help

Alright I am 24, 5-9 and weigh about 205. I am trying to loose some weight, say around 25 pounds. I am currently on the atkins diet. My biggest problem is eating durring the day. I don't like to mess with breakfast and so I usually just drink some hot herbal tea. Then I usually don't eat anything untill 4 or 5. Then I eat too much and then snack till I go to bed. What I would like to ask is if there is anything you have found that is legal on the diet but is cheap and easy to take to work. I was trying salads but they get nasty really quick. Any suggestions please I am dieing here. thanks

First at least eat SOMETHING during the morning.
this gets your metabolism going again.

And then make your LUNCH your biggest meal of the day
and you need to eat it earlier, around at least by 2.

And then eat your last meal maybe around 6 or 7,
this should be smaller, and don't eat near bed.

If you do snack, naw on something like carrots...this will fill you up,
but not weight you down.

That's just the basics...there are ways of detailling it even more.

I know a couple people that were on the Atkins, as was I.... A couple good snacks I've tried:

Pork rinds. They smell nasty but taste good
Cheese. I like string cheese the best
Nuts. Macadamia nuts are the best - low carbs
Berrys - low in carbs, and give you a little sweet taste
Atkins or other low carb "candy" bars. They're expensive, and not that great tasting IMO, but some people like them.

Force yourself to eat breakfast, hell you should be eating at least 5 meals a day. Don't get in the habit of snacking all evening... this is no lifestyle that will allow you to remain in shape. At your rate you will throw your body into starvation mode...bad times...

Yeah see I know that I should be, and I kick myself for not eating in the morning, i just can't stand breakfast food. Too much time to make. I do like the cheese stick idea and pork rinds is a good snack I can keep at the office.

Another question I had was can I eat beef jerky? Is there too many additives and crap in it? Do they sell it at health food stores that may be better?

THanks

You dont have to eat breakfast food if you dont want to. The point is to put *something* good in your stomach to kickstart the body.

Atkins works fine if you do it right. You aren't doing it right. Eat decent food every 2 or 3 hours and keep the carbs down. Add eggs and pickled things to your list. Your body needs energy, going all day with no food won't fuel the keytosis that burns fat.

35 pounds in 6 weeks isn't crap. Nor is maintaining my new weight for 6 months.

Atkins works, don't give up! You must know the diet or you will not do well. People that succeed can quote the book.

TAKE YOUR SUPPLEMENTS!

Low carb does not equal No Carb. Eat 20 carbs a day minimum.

Use keto sticks. They are very motivating.

When in induction I eat buddig beef, chunked ham, cheese (sticks, slices, etc) and hard boiled eggs for breakfast during the workweek. After a few days (my stomach shrinks), it fills me up til noon.

Snack on low-carb veggies.

Beef jerky is awesome, read the labels. Some have too many carbs.

Secret of the day, mexican food sans the tortilla, rice and beans. Taco salad, no chips.
Taco, no shell.

Best of luck to you.
