just lost alot of weight

yeah half way through basic trainning in the army..i have lost 20 pounds and 4 inches off my waist.....damn im looking good....i swear i even with working construction im not as active as i am in basic...its great....wanna loose weight.....join up

To pass BCT you have to meet the 50% level of the APFT outlined here: http://www.usarec.army.mil/hq/apa/rc/apft.htm

You also have to meet the weight and height requirements here: http://www.usarec.army.mil/hq/apa/rc/weight.htm

Thats what I wanna know... When my friend went through Basic, he sure as hell wasnt on a computer!

Ive heard all sorts of things. I know that "hooah" is the sort-of official grunt/exclamation/acknowledgement/everything else at West Point, though.

Some TACs will allow short breaks and such on weekends and all. Some people use this time to make phone calls, pig out on real food, etc....

Hooah is an exclamation of joy, acknowledgement, agreement, emotion etc... You basically got the general gist of it. It's the unofficial official "interjection" of the Army - not just West Point.
