While we're on the topic, does anyone here use those online banks with higher interest accounts?

I just opened one up with ING Direct and it looks pretty cool so far. 2% interest, no minimums, no fees. Gonna try it for a few months and if it doesn't give me any problems I'm going to close out my savings acct at my local bank. Its rate is something really pathetic like 0.49%.

yep. unless you make your own. then it's plenty cheap.
