I saw the film several months ago, so I don't exactly remember the details clearly, but here's what I can recall.

He made it a point to order everything off of the menu at least once during the time period, and if he was asked to supersize his meal, he was obligated to do so. He also forced himself to eat everything that he bought.

Yes, he was overeating, but the meals were seldom bigger than a supersized value meal or something that people actually get for a meal, it wasn't too unrealistic in terms of what people actually eat. For him this was a lot of food though, as he had to puke in order to finish a supersized double quarter pounder with cheese value meal; classic scene in the film.

As for the selected McDonalds daily menu from above, you have to take into account that those are some of their healthier items, having a McGriddle (which I believe had just come out when he shot it) for breakfast adds a lot more than having an Egg McMuffin.

There were some sort of toxic side effects from eating all that crap, or at least so I remember. Throughout the shooting he visited some different doctors, and towards the end they urged him to stop for fear that he might do perminent damage to himself.

At the end of the film he did point out the fact that people don't actually go around eating this much food from McDonalds on a regular basis, and that he was just doing it to make a point as to how dangerous it is to get most of your meals from fast food. He also makes a point to say that fast food can still have a place in your diet, you just have to eat it in moderation.

He came to speak at my school a couple of months ago, but unfortunatly I was out of town. I really wish I could've seen him.
