Conversion rate from Canadian dollar to Euro

I'm planning a trip to the Netherlands soon, but I need to know how much money to bring. I plan to be extremely stoned most of the time, so I want to bring enough money to cover that, and whatever other crazy shit I get into while high.

I basically want to bring more money than I'll need. Not counting hotel, flights, things like that. Those are going to be included in my initial costs. I want to know how much spending money to bring.

I guess I'm not asking what the actual conversion rate is. I'm just asking how much Canadian money I should bring in order to have a good time.

I have no idea how much things cost there in Euro. Does a simple meal cost me 50 Euro or 100? Does 12 pounds of high grade marijuana cost me 10000 or 50000 Euro?

How much do things cost there?

Check out the lonely planet guide. They usually offer suggestions on the average price of things.

IMHO bring as much as you feel comfortable carrying and can afford. There's always room to go up the scale.

Don't forget they do take credit cards and you can always access your bank account from an ATM (it converts the currency for you at a reasonable exchange rate).

When I travel (which I do a lot for work) I carry a couple hundred dollars and get the rest from the ATM. It's a lot more secure than carrying wads of cash.

I'd second that credit card idea.... I was in the netherlands this summer, and the Euro is relatively close to the American dollar. Pricewise, I remember a McDonalds meal going for 10 Euro.. not positive though.
