I think I got food poisoning

without going into detail, I feel really sick and my belly aches and I've had to go to the bathroom like 6 times in the last hour... I ate some chicken and I started feeling bad literally 5 minutes after I ate the meal....

I thikn I read that you drank a lot last night too... After not drinking for a few weeks. That might have a bit to do with it.. I hope you feel better soon :(

If you've got food poisoning chances are you shouldn't have the strength to do things like sit up, or type.

In my experience anyhow.

It takes about 3-4 hours (for me anyway) if it's food poisoning. And you will yak/and or shit so many times over the course of the next several hours that you will barely be able to stand let alone go anywhere near a computer.

If you think you have food poisoning, you probably don't. When you have food poisoning, You Know - -there's no mistake about it. and you pray for a very quick death.

Ya, last time it got to a point where i couldn't even stand anymore because i was too weak. Seriously. I just had to lay on the cold bathroom floor.

yeah and if you do manage to stand up it makes you sick again

food poisoning - just say no

My last food poisoning experience, without going into too much detail. I decided to sleep in the bathroom as both ends were emitting fluids without giving me too much warning to run to the bathroom. Also include the serious abdo pain that caused me to cry in agony.

I was actually a victim of food poisioning at one point, but like you, very soon after eating the evil food I knew... probably 10-15 minutes after ingesting it I got an inkling.

Make no mistake about it, though, when you have food poisioning, there is no question - if you are indeed questioning your illness, and you are considering you have "something" else, unless that "something" is Ebola, it ain't food poisioning...

Yeah. I ate some chicken that had been on the counter for about 12 hours at my grandma's house the Christmas before last before last. About an hour later, my stepdad started puking at her house. He puked on the way home in my front yard. Later that night, about 4 hours after I went to bed, I woke up feeling really, really nauseous. I kept doing weird inside-my stomach burps for about 30 minutes. Then it hit the motherlode. I puked 13 times from midnight until 6 AM on Christmas Day. In between the 13 pukes, I kept doing the inside my stomach burps that aren't audible. I puked a final time at 8 AM, and felt like I had been hit by a truck for about 2 days afterward. It was the worst I had ever felt in my entire life!

wow my first post...anyway. Salmonella food poisoning is one of the worst it comes from chickens and their eggs and cantalope. It takes 24 to 48 hours after to eat it to start feeling ill. I had a bad case of it about 10 years ago and had to spned a week in the hospital.

I just got food poisoning yesterday. In n out didn't cook their burgers thoroughly :|

Maybe you just had the flu? When I had food poisoning I laid in bed for 4 days..and I puked so much..I couldn't keep anything down. Not even gatorade. Had stomach cramps so bad I prayed that I would die so I didn't have to live through another day like that. I didn't watch tv, I didn't get on the interent, I didn't talk to anyone. Just laid in a dark room and prayed for death.

Hmm, I have heard that when you have food poisining, you can tell because your tounge changes color.

I had what I thought was food poisining at one point, but I am not so sure anymore. I got it from shrimp, a couple of nights before Christmas, and I know it was from the shrimp, because my friend shared the same meal and we both felt sick at the same time. He made himself throw up all the food later that night, but I HATE throwing up! The funny thing is, I never did throw up, but I couldn't eat normally without getting seriously sick for weeks.

Last time I had food poisoning, I was in the fetal position in agonizing pain with explosive fluiid release out of both ends. You'll know it's food poisoning because you won't be able to stand, and you will puke harder and further than ANY drunk you know has ever puked from drinking too much. You will know when you get food poisoning. You'll be lucky if you have a bathtub IMMEDIATELY infront of the toilet, because it WILL come out simultaneously at some point.

You don't want to hear my stories of explosive shit and puking. Just get well, drink enough fluid to keep yourself hydrated. Don't eat much of anything until you're feeling better.
