Protein Oh Yeah!
Just wondering what everyone is taking for protein through food and suplements. Also, I just had this new bar today, called the Oh Yeah! protein bar. By far the best tasting I have ever had. 26g of protein, very very tasty.

I'm actually trying to gain weight right now. I'm at 175, tryin to get to about 190-195.
My favorite source of protein is Tuna! But, I'm a tuna freak... as for the bars, I've never seen Oh Yeah! Bars...We have Power Bars though, they are actually pretty good. 20 Grams of protein. Way outta my budget though

I like Optimum Nutrition. I get it from www.musclesurf.com for about $30 with shipping. Tastes great and mixes well with water or anything else.

a lot of carbs and calories?
who cares? you need carbs and calories to build muscle. mind you, a lot of the carbs in protein bars are simple sugars and thus are only really suited for post workout. still.. .

If you're trying to gain weight, then that's exactly what it means.
Does that mean im saying you should fill your mouth with sugar, fast food, etc? No, but that does mean that you should fill your mouth with quality carbs and calories. Anyone who's taking protein bars im assuming is taking them to gain weight, and usually taking them after a workout(why eat whey any other time?). After a workout you need a ton of high and low gi carbs to get your insulin levels back up, as well as a ton of protein to get your body building muscle. And diet isn't "80 percent this, 20 percent that". You can't put a ratio comparing two things. Every factor involved is equally important.
