Real quick Question
After the loading phase of creatine, when is the best time to take it. IN the morning, before you work out (on days you do, or after. I have seen different stuff, and wanted to know what people are doing now. (knowing how fast all this nutrition stuff can change)

Take it with your preworkout meal.
What type of creatne are you using, monohydrate? Loading phases aren't always required depending on the type of creatine you're using. I'm personally a big fan of CEE type creatine. From what I've used, it appears to be very bioavailable and there's no loading phase needed. You also wont have to take it with sugars or carbs like you would monohydrate. What doses are you taking?

Why are you even taking it? All it does is load your muscles with extra water. Guess I just don't get it.

creatine is naturally in your body, and helps to replenish atp (basically your body's energy currency. so, to a point, creatine will help you effectively utilize more energy while lifting weights.
the objective research that actually did trials (group of people with creatine versus group of people with placebo) showed that it can help to increase muscle mass for weightlifters & sprinters (since they use larger muscle groups), but doesn't show great gains for swimmers and long distance runners. when i took creatine undergrad, it was a powder form. it did help me to last longer in my workouts, which helped me to get stronger, which helped me to get a bit bigger. last year, i used atp advantage made by muscle media marketing which is a liquid form. according to the directions, there is no loading phase and it avoids the possible complications of the powder form. again, it helped me in my workouts. bottomline, creatine should be able to help you, but the desire needs to be there first. i'm not sure who posted it, but it would be wise to set a workout plan to see if you're actually seeing results strengthwise from it.
