Before I go on to the main subject, let me start off with my most recent blog entry from my myspace account:

Think of your lifetime as one day; one year. When you think about it, that's pretty much all we've got. We could die tomorrow, today...now. We just don't know. Grab the ones you love and hold on for dear life; don't let them go. Don't even blink; 'cause if you do, they might be gone. Realize that the ones you hold dear won't always be there. Realize that there will come a time when they will no longer be a part of your life, so cherish your time with them now. Now is all we've a guarantee for. Now is all we've got.

So next time you're wondering when you should see the ones you hold dear, don't think, "They're not going anywhere. I'll just sidetrack for awhile and see that person later." Think, "Now." While you're sidetracking, something might happen, not necessarily death, but anything that would make it so you will never see that person again. Don't take that risk, and most importantly, don't let people take that risk with you. If you are not their now, then you are not their anything. Just as if they are not your now, they are nothing to you.

I left this entry almost a week ago. Tonight, I was sitting at home with two friends (a woman I've recently fallen in love with, and her kid brother), and she got a page from her uncle. Using my cellphone to call him back, she was informed that three of her family members had just died in a car accident; one of them being a baby; one half of a pair of twins. I just didn't know what to say. Her stale look of "this isn't happening," and her brother's look of dispair froze me. All I could think about was this last entry I left in my blog. It just fit way too well.

A toast to those I've never met, who have recently passed on, and who were loved by those I now love. As I sit here with this half-empty bottle of cheap wine, and as my friends drive home to their families (hopefuly safely), all I can think of are the people I love; the people I've taken for granted because they've always been there. While tonight is proof that in the blink of an eye, they can disappear.

My heart goes out to all people who never had a chance to say, "I love you," before their loved ones died. Cheers.

I know what your girlfriend is going through, It's horrible, I wouldn't wish it upon my worst enemy.

we've all paid our respects and made our voices heard..without saying a word vocally. our voices reverberate through cyberspace forever. everyone whos read this im sure has said a prayer and paid their respects.

Sometimes we realize Death will pay a call to us all, and death waits for no man.

Live life while we still yet breathe, and free yourself of regrets.

Because one day, sooner than we would like, our turn will come.

I wish more people would keep this in mind.

I hope she finds peace.
