A smiles what I give when I have to give
For now I can't give what Does'nt belong me
Dismay with a frown is all I can give
Time is the answer to finding the cure
Knowing whats broke don't help to fix it
Rejecting the laughter I turn from the light
I know that to give up is choosing defeat
Trying my best to survive this life
Wondering what lesson I'm being taught now
Today I will look for the elusive smile
The past's taught me looking will bring me around
I hope for the future what I have not know
Praying for harmony to settle my heart
Now is the time I choose to begin
I look for the aura of joy thats been lost
A soft dwarfish smile's reborn for a moment
A moment though fleeting is all that I have

Today when your out, bustling about,
give of yourself, let your heart out.

Give forth a smile, to one that is needing,
you know which one, there eyes you see bleeding.

Hold out your hand and get out of your way,
a stranger in need, of a brighter day.

It's easy and nice, to wear a real smile,
and when we can share, we sail from our isle.

Try and be giving, and loving and kind,
You may just be helping, to change a sad mind.

The smiles that were giving, return doublefold
inside our hearts shine, brighter than gold.

If you will try this, I'm sure you will see,
your spirit will soar, happy and free.
