its been a hard night for me. its also been a while since ive written any form of poetry. i needed to work things out, and i also thought id share with everyone.


if the pain in my heart could stop,
maybe then i could wake up from this dream

a dream where life is what you want it to be
a dream where life is what you need it to be
vivid and exciting
comfortable and stable
a life where you have everything
and more importantly, everyone

unlike the bleakness of dull reality
reality drags on
reality leaves you cold and empty
longing for the love of the one you lost
hoping the one you lost still has love for you
