Just kinda popped in the old head right now. Figured I'd jot it down here.
QUESTIONS Standing on the shores of forever with you by my side This cannot feel more right but my heart fails to convince my mind that this is the truly so Am I settling for you Am I sure of this Am I moving too fast Am I settling for you? Why do so many questions linger? She's my everything, She's my morning flower She's my song that I sing to myself all day She's my world But my head still says "think about it" Is this what you want Is this who you love Is this right Is this what you really want? But as I lay here this night, I quietly accept that the power of my mind has won the battle with my heart, and I quietly weep, You're not what I want You're not who I love This isn't right at all You're not what I really want I want to be free to do what I want I don't like to be caged to be penned up and released at your convenience to jump through your fiery hoops I want to be admired I want to be lusted for I want to be appreciated I want to be loved and most of all I want to be free of you
