It sort of looks like one of the Giugiaro designed concept cars but I'm not sure if that's right or which one.

wow, what a coincidence! I was looking around for totally unrelated other car info and lo & behold, I stumble on photos of this car ...so now I'm sure I was wrong above since it's a Ferrari Modulo by Pininfarina.

bobby, I hope this is an ongoing game. What's next?

that sort of looks like an Alfa Romeo but I'm not sure and I'd have to search around to nail it down for sure with details. maybe around 1938 maybe 8C. I won't cheat and look now.

Those of us with sharp eyes can read it, but I didn't even need to look at the license plate to know that's the new Buick Riviera concept.

I don't know who thought the gull wings were a good idea. There's a reason nobody's bothered with them since DeLorean.

As I looked at the picture I thought "damn, does bobby think we're blind?" since it was too legible.

Except for all the "tuner freaks" who seem to want gullwing/Lambo doors on everything.

next?

you owned a Borgward?! That is unusual ...at least in the U.S. it would be. If you don't mind saying, where did you live when you owned one?

I just looked it up and strangely enough, I always thought Borgward was a British car but it turns out it was German ...obviously I know almost nothing about Borgwards other than having heard of them.

I knew playing video games would pay off....

From Wikipedia:
The Nike ONE is a high performance vehicle concept car developed by Nike and Polyphony Digital that is featured on the Gran Turismo 4 PlayStation 2 game.

[edit] Development
The Nike ONE concept car was designed by Phil Frank, Head of Principal Phil Frank Design, LLC [1]. Famous for the design of the Saleen S7, the small design team was approached to design the vehicle as part of the GT4/Nike collaboration.

The join came as a surprise to Polyphony's press conference attendees when company president, Kazunori Yamauchi announced the decision for the product-in-game placement. Also at the ceremony was Nike co-president Mark Parker as well as two of the Nike ONE designers, Phil Frank and Takuya Asano.

The design is a swooping roof bearing the legendary Nike Swoosh logo covering one bucket seat that's designed to accommodate a stretched-out driving posture, rather like a motorcyclists. The minimalist design is inspired by Nike founder, Bill Bowerman's principles of less is more.

[edit] Technology
The concept car utilizes technology that hasn't yet been realized as well as Nike technology that exists in their products such as Nike Shox Technology for the Seat Suspension. The Nike ONE features Head-Up Displays as one of the visual communication technologies on board.

The car is controlled by Non-Invasive Bioports on the drivers hands and is transceived in the vehicles CPU. Nike says that 'It contributes to the overall feeling of connectivity'.

The Nike ONE uses a unique kind of energy source called the HEP Drive (Human Energy Potential), which utilzes the energy collected by the Nike Spark Suit (an item of clothing that acts as a generator for body motion) and stores it in Microbatts in the footwear of the driver. This Bio-lectriciy is then used to power the electric hub-less micromotors located in the wheels of the Nike ONE. This kind of drive is intended for use by athletes to train muscles and improve the cardiovascular system using pain-training-style methods.

Pretty interesting. I'm glad you got that since there is no way I would ever have thought of that. Gran Turismo and Need for Speed are about the extent of my video games ...unless Pong counts.
