looks like I have a busy day/weekend ahead of me

belt tensioner went out in my NYer. fuckers gonna be a pain in the ass to get out. good thing the new one is only $35.99. meanwhile, I have a battery that needs charged in the other car, plus water leaking into it from somewhere. all this rain we just had left about 3/4 of an inch on the floor on the passenger side.

sigh. I love/hate/love cars, dont you?

truest thing I ever heard:

If it has tits or wheels, it's going to give you trouble.

Well it could......that leak could be the front window. They cost a lot to get a new one put in.

Guy I know made a sotrm machine for testing window leaks. As he s a glass installer, it just made sense. It's basically one heck of an industrial strength fan and a moderate-pressure water line with a variety of spray nozzles on it. He says it works right well in locating leaks.

In my case, resealing my windshield almost always works. Dunno why I keep having leaky windshields in multiple different cars, but I do. Must be my automobile karma or something.

Ya are last 3 cars all had the problem inculding my van all I did was geta new window, but half the body came out with the orignal window so the bondo is helping keep the leaks away, just need to find the small leak on my sunroof.
