Carbon fiber hoods are a lot lighter than standard steel hoods. Plus they look really cool.

Nice car man. What are the specs?

I like it, but i dont understand the black carbon hood. Weight reduction is nice and all, and they are very strong, but are you going to paint it? Or could you have gotten one in white?

I kinda like the rims.

If your not going to put in a turbo or intercooler though, you might want to fill that gap, with at least something to keep the rocks and stuff from flying in and wrecking your radiator.

Just my $0.02 so dont take it seriously. Oh, i like how i see red on the tailight and you haven't gone to clear ones. Bonus points for that

You shoulda put that $$ into a DSM and had a faster, sportier, and better car *shrugs* to each his own.

For what it is, only thing i like on it are the rims, everything else is unneeded, 300 dollar carbon fiber hood=weight reduction? bullshit, you dont need that until you've done like everything bolt on to a car, besides, if you're that serious about "tuning" you wouldnt be racing that thing...anyways

atleast you dont have a wing.

Tint is nice too though.

wow. lay off the harsh criticism. Yes, if you get a body kit you add weight to the car, but a CF hood is significantly lighter. Also, you don't paint it because otherwise no one will know that you have a CF hood. Now personally, I would not get a body kit because I autocross and I prefer to make performance mods (if I had any money). But that is his choice, and his car is pretty clean. His paint matches, his rims look good while not being too big, and I like the dark rims on a white car. I have the same on my Integra after my factory rims were stolen. Besides, maybe he doesn't want a DSM because he does not want to have the crankshaft start walking around and have to buy a new engine. But I have to agree, please try to resist the tempation to buy a rear wing. How about some fog lights to fill in the bumper, have you considered that? Also, are there any performance mods?

I think it looks pretty sweet man! The only thing i don't like is the white paint, it just doesn't do anything for me, you know? Oh well other than that i think its great

Nice looking car! I really do like the look of a "riced out" car for lack of better term. I like the look of a Civic with a body kit and big wing. To me it is the owners choice of customizing just like any car.

What I have trouble with is calling a Civic a race car just because it has that big wing.

Nice car. Don't let criticism slow you down any. I like it. Do whatever you want with it!

Ever thought of investing in a few stickers? Powered by Mugen, Type R.... or those flame decals on the sides.....thats what most young people are doing these days isn't it?
Otherwise, nice ride. Is that sunroof from the factory or aftermarket?

Yea, I would say good job as well. Its got that whole "look" going on without being tacky. I would say though that something needs to go in that front air dam, thats the only thing that looks out of place. Wheels are iffy as well...but other thatn that.

yeah once i get the turbo in the intercooler will take up the space in the front bumper. Also I am thinking about selling my wheels and getting some new ones. Im not for sure if i want to get another set of gunmetal colored wheels or liek a bronze colored wheel.

Personally, i think just a straight aluminum looking wheel is nice. Some cars can pull off a white rim with reasonably wide spokes...like 5 or 6 spoke rim.
Anyway, id say go with a white or silver rim.... i personally do not like the look of gunmetal, black, or bronze rims.

Personally for engine mods this is what I would do.....Beef the hell outta the engine.....throw some japanese spec parts like heads and intake on it.....lightened flywheel.....get a kick ass ignition....and throw 180hp of nitrous down the hole. and if you really really serious about making it go fast....gut the interior out....

Carbon Fiber hoods aren't just lighter, they go a little deeper then that. They also significantly change the front to back whieght distribution of the car. Resulting in possibly, much better stability and handling.

Not bad for a civic. I like the rims, they'd look better on a faster car though,

Hood takes away fmr the car. Paint it to match, if you want people to know its carbon-fiber, tell them. Or put a sign that says "I have a carbon-fiber hood"

I like the color contrast, and it looks like he does too, and it is his car... so I'm gunna have to defer to him.

People have been modifying their cars as long as there have been cars. The thing about the current "rice" trend we're in is that's what people have to work with. Little sedans and coupes from Japan are some of the most popular selling cars, so that's what people modify. I personally think it's all good as long as the modifications are in good taste, which varies from person to person.

The CF hood makes the car, if it were all one color, it'd be too...white. If that's the stock motor, rather than putting on a turbo where you'd need exhaust/intake/head gasket etc, you could just spend the same $3000 and drop in a GSR motor. It'd be just as fast, have way more potential, and wouldn't be that much more $$ (w/o mods). The body is awesome though.

Nice car, buddy, Keep it clean. I have to ask though, couldn't you get the hood, painted with, like, opaque white, so you could still make out the CF weave? Maintain the Cf-coolness, but a little less....well, black... Just a thought. I like it overall, keep up the good work
