2000 Blazer ZR2 is noisy

hey guys, i just bought a used 2000 chevy Blazer ZR2... i have owned it for about a month, the items it needed when i bought it were new ball joints, pitman arm, idler arm and rear pads.... i replaced them all...

the problem i am having is the etire truck rattles on the inside when i drive it over bumbps like sewer grates and stuff... a rattle fromt he back tailgate and the plastics from the interior, there is even a noise from under the dashboard...

anyone else heard of a similar problem? if so. HOW DO I FIX?!?! its drivingme crazy, thanks...

I used to work at a Chevy dealer and Blazers rattle like crazy. Everywhere on the interior. About the only thing you can really do to fix it is pull the panels off. Look on the backside pf the panels, and wherever you see white dust, or signs that the panel was rubbing against another panel you can put some foam rubber, or the soft side of some adhesive backed velcro, or anything else you can think of to prevent the panels from rubbing against each other, or against the body. Its a pain to fix all the rattles, but once they are fixed it is a nice SUV to drive.

My wife drives a '98 Blazer and it too rattles like a bitch. It's also a money pit! We've been married 2 years and so far I've replaced 2 altenators, 3 brake rotors (front drivers side twice), ball joints once, and 2 (yes TWO) complete rear-ends.

I've never liked GM autos and have always said I'd never buy one. I married into this one and have hated it since Day One. The only nice thing I can say about it is the engine starts first time, every time... the rest of the truck is crap though.
