Coachella Music Festival 2007

I just bought my tickets! Figuring out travel and stay arrangement. Debating between camping there, or grabbing a hotel room. Is anyone else planning to go? Anyone have stories from past experiences? I can't wait!

Coachella

Bjork, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Rage Against the Machine headlining. The last Rage concert I went to was at least 7 years ago, and it may as well have been a riot.

I personally can't wait to catch Sonic Youth, DJ Shadow, Tiesto, Paul van Dyk, Black Keys, Ozomatli... Well, the list goes on and on.

Original lineup RATM? Have fun there!

I would go if the lineup fit my preferences better. But if I did happen to go I would see the following:
Friday-Bjork, Interpol, Brazilian Girls, Rufus Wainwright, Gillian Welch, Amy Winehouse
Saturday-Travis (Weakest scheduled day for me)
Sunday-Air, Willie Nelson (saw him live at the Hollywood Bowl), Lily Allen

According to the articles I've read, and the RATM website they are reuniting for Coachella (de la Rocha, Morello, Commerford and Wilk).

Ooh, let's see...

Friday: Bjork, NICKEL CREEK, Sonic Youth
Saturday: Arcade Fire, Travis, Andrew Bird
Sunday: Lily Allen, Anathallo

As much as I'd like to see Arcade Fire for the first time and Nickel Creek and Anathallo for the second times, that's not quite worth the ticket price and gas costs in my book. Still, cool lineup.

I about pissed myself when I heard RATM was reuniting, but I figure this is only temporary since Chris Cornell is taking a break from Audioslave to do some solo shit.

I'd normally be against a RATM reunion, but since it gives Cornell the push to do some solo material that at least has the chance of being interesting, I'm all for it.

It'll be pretty redundant, though, if Red Hot Chili Peppers perform "Every RATM Song You've Ever Heard" (better known as "Suck My Kiss"). God, I hate Rage.

(yeah, I'm in a pissy mood right now.)
