Bubblegum Crisis, complete vocal collections, 3 disc set. I didn't buy it becuase it was anime music, I bought it because it sounds exactly how the 80's sounded... with Japanese voices. I wish I could find the English versions I heard, because those were kick ass 80's too.

Before that it was Cold's A Different Kind of Pain and Tiesto's In Search of Sunrise vol 5/

I don't purchase cd's very often, only highly desired new releases, but I swap them a lot.

Some recent acquisitions:

Emiliana Torrini - Love in the Time of Science

XTC - Oranges and Lemons

Julee Cruise - The Art of Being a Girl

Steely Dan - Can't Buy a Thrill

Steely Dan - The Royal Scam

Steely Dan - Pretzel Logic (these three albums complete my lost Steely Dan collection - yay!)

Sonya Kitchell - Words Came Back to Me

The Zombies - Odessey & Oracle

The Buddy Holly Collection

The Devlins - Waves

Ron Sexsmith - Other Songs

Grateful Dead - Workingman's Dead

The Flaming Lips - Clouds Taste Metallic

Cannonball Adderley - Somethin' Else

The Who - Tommy

Cat Power - You Are Free

Rickie Lee Jones - Rickie Lee Jones

Beck - Mutations

Tom Waits - Bone Machine

And assorted greatest hits cds from: The Ohio Players, Ernest Tubb, Squeeze, Madness, Loretta Lynn, The Flying Burrito Brothers, Donny Hathaway, The Byrds, The Beach Boys, Bill Monroe, Siouxsie & the Banshees...

And many more that I can't remember right now.

I love trading. It's the only way I can satisfy my fetish for music both legally and financially.

Good get on Emiliana Torrini. I first listened to her first album during my Björk - Debut and Post phase. I particularly like Unemployed In Summertime and Wednesday's Child off this album.

Her second album, Fisherman's Woman, strips out nearly all the possible electronic themes from the music and goes almost full on accoustic.

Yes, I have Fisherman's Woman on my wish list. But being that she's a fairly popular newer artist, her cd's rarely pop up. I was thrilled to get this one.

I love her voice.

Hey Mixed, thanks to your recommendation I sampled some Sonya Kitchell. I really like her. So thanks.

And I gotta throw a plug in for Grateful Dead's "Workingman's Dead". One of my favourite albums.
