Need music for French restaurant. Need suggestions.

Hello. I am searching for new French music. It is for a restaurant named CrepeMaker. Yes, we make crepes. We are getting bored of our CD that we got from Starbucks and are looking for a new CD or some music to download that is appropriate for a restaurant. It can have words but preferably in French. So far we have these two CD's:

French? Try Ravel (where do I know that name from?), Debussy, Berloiz (lighter stuff), Frank, Saint-Saens, Berg, etc. The decent impressionist stuff from about the time of the last century. The frencher the better, but be careful playing Bolero... you don't want an orgy.

Depending on what exactly you want, I would probably recommend:

Artist - Album Keren Ann - Nolita (relatively mellow stuff) Francoise Hardy - The Vogue Years (ye-ye pop) Pink Martini - Sympatique (or) Hang On Little Tomato (a mini pop orchestra band) Paris Combo - Motifs (you have it on the French Café album) Madeleine Peyroux - any of her three solo albums, or her collaboration with WIlliam Gallison (Dreamland, Careless Love, Half The Perfect World, Got You On My Mind)

If you want something more...modern (I'm not sure what "setting" and "mood" your creperie has, you could try 'Le Monde' by Thievery Corporation(they;re not french, that song is).

Very chill, perfect for a modern setting. Marie Laforet's version of 'Paint it Black'. Some french popular music is Johnny Halliday, and more recent: Noir Desir, a rock band. Also, Louise Attaque (try "J't'enmene au vent"). BTW, if you know an artist's name and are trying to find good songs by them, this site is awesome. http://www.seeqpod.com/music/
