I just purchased tickets to go see the Blue Man Group. Has anyone seen them before and want to share their experience? Am I in for a good show?

oh yeah.....i saw them a couple times here in chicago. some good laughs, marshmallow feats, excellent drumming.

someone bought me a cd of the show, i don't recommend it. it's good live, but not really something to listen to in the car........

Are you going to Tubes (the fixed show in NY, Boston, and a couple other places) or Complex (the touring concert)?

I have the Complex album, which rocks. And Derwood has a good point; just go in and wait to see what you see. I loved Tubes.

Yeah, I saw them in Chicago shortly after they opened. You do not want to know what you will experience. Besides I don't think I could adequately describe it anyway.

I have heard nothing but great things about their shows. They are one of the most original, creative groups that I have heard in a long time.

I absolutely agree. I saw it a couple of years ago here in Chicago. I got the tickets as a gift and expected to not like it, but it was really cool. And as was stated before, the less you know going into it, the better.

I've seen the show at least 3 times in Boston, enjoyed it everytime. Just expect the unexpected.

I have never heard anyone complain about a Blue Man Group show. They have two CD's out at the moment, their first one is "Audio" and a newer one "The Complex."

"Audio" is very good, and a definite purchase. "The Complex" is a pop effort with some catchy hooks if you don't mind that kind of thing.

The Boston show is a blast. I use to knwo one of the marshmellow guys. They can pulll off some amazing stuff.

I go back every few years.

Great show! I saw them in Chicago too, I'm sure the touring show will be different becuase of the large arenas they are playing, but I'm sure it will still be good. The music is fabulous!

I just saw them at their Briar Street Theater in Chicago and it was absolutely amazing. The intensity with which they put on their shows and the insane degree of talent they all have is unparalleled. You won't be disappointed.

Grew up with the show in NYC, I try to see it everytime I get back there. Have also seen it in Boston and Las Vegas, still hoping to see it in Chicago one day. Great stuff.

I SAW THEM IN BOSTON IT WAS THE TUBES SHOW ME MY SISTER ANNNE AND MY 11 YEAR OLD SON IT WAS AWESOME HAVE A GOOD TIME.
