The walrus was Paul.

Everyone loves a conspiracy, don't they?

What was the cause of death for Fred 'Sonic' Smith?

Bryndian_Dhai 01-21-2005 04:28 PM

Uh, folks, where exactly did this thread go off??

Highway asked the last question, I answered it (correctly) and posted the next.

If the Van Zandt answer was to my question, then you're wrong.

I wish people would read the whole thread before answering.

Booray 01-21-2005 08:12 PM

I was confused by that too.

QuasiMojo 01-22-2005 07:07 PM

Confusion from Booray indicates that a new question is needed-

released August 11, 1976 ~this bands album was thought by not a few to be the resurrection of no less than ""The Beatles" reunited"" due to it's lyrical and musical content.

What was the albums title?

not the band.
the TITLE of their first album is what I'm after.

perripken 01-27-2005 09:06 AM

As the thread originator, I need to answer this before it hit's page two.....
I believe it's Klatuu, 3:47 EST.

perripken 02-12-2005 11:53 AM

I'm thoroughly disappointed! However, I have to admit- I haven't been contributing to this thread much any more. Used to be a lot of heavy traffic. Anyways, hopefully I can get some interest in trivia again.
Name two lead singers from the band Rainbow!

gboz 02-15-2005 10:18 AM

Ronnie James Dio and Joe Lynn Turner?

perripken 02-16-2005 02:46 PM

That's correct Gboz, Sorry for the long delay in the answer, but once again, my computer is having issues!

perripken 03-07-2005 06:51 AM

Alas, it looks like my music trivia thead is dying a slow death. I will try to continue keeping it active as much as possible, but sure could use some help. My computer is still acting up, and I really don't have as much time on my hands as I used to.
Anyways, on to a new question:
Name the former drummer for such acts as Black Sabbath, Rainbow, and the Brian May Band who passed away from a tragic car accident in 1998.

Is it Cosey (sp?) Powell??

perripken 03-08-2005 09:19 AM

Yes, Cozy Powell is the correct answer- awesome drummer, great loss to the music world. Your question...

Bryndian_Dhai 03-08-2005 07:24 PM

Yack! lol... Gimme a few, I'll be back with a question.

Bryndian_Dhai 03-09-2005 08:38 PM

Anyway, here it is....

What band did Kerry King of Slayer briefly play for?

perripken 03-19-2005 05:12 AM

Fly 03-19-2005 06:14 AM

Bryndian_Dhai 03-19-2005 01:11 PM

Yup its Megadeth. Ok, someone else's turn.

Fly 03-19-2005 04:03 PM

sweet.............ok

give me the name of the original drummer for Rush before Neil Peart

God of Thunder 03-19-2005 04:56 PM

John Rutsey

Weird thing is I was just talking about that with someone just recently. He didn't believe Neil was not on the first album.

OK lets see who knows their country.

Toby Keith had a hit on his first album based on one line from a classic rock song. Name the song & artist. (If you know one, you know the other)

God of Thunder 03-22-2005 06:08 AM

No takers yet????

Alright the song Toby lifted the line from was a Bob Seger song. Anyone know which one??

Harry Cox 03-22-2005 06:30 PM

Like A Rock?

(just a wild guess)

God of Thunder 03-22-2005 07:55 PM

No, Toby Keith lifted the line "I wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then" from Seger's "Against the Wind"

He turned it into a top 10 hit on his first album.

I thought it was pretty interesting how he took one line from a song (and a damn good one it was) and made it into seperate song. He didn't just remake "Against the Wind" He gave the line it's own life.

Anyways, I can't think of anything right now, so I'll toss it out to the masses.

Bryndian_Dhai 03-23-2005 01:18 AM

In spite of my horrible track record with questions, I'm all for never-say-die, lol....

So, here goes....

What did Brian May name his first electric guitar, which he made himself?

Sion 03-24-2005 10:32 AM

Spot?

.......

Bryndian_Dhai 03-24-2005 10:06 PM

Uh... Nope, lol.

According to the rules, no.

You should know the answer.

It is permissable to research within your own collection though. I have been known to refer to old albums to double-check spelling and such.
