The walrus was Paul.
Everyone loves a conspiracy, don't they? What was the cause of death for Fred 'Sonic' Smith? |
Uh, folks, where exactly did this thread go off??
Highway asked the last question, I answered it (correctly) and posted the next. If the Van Zandt answer was to my question, then you're wrong. I wish people would read the whole thread before answering. |
I was confused by that too.
|
Confusion from Booray indicates that a new question is needed-
released August 11, 1976 ~this bands album was thought by not a few to be the resurrection of no less than ""The Beatles" reunited"" due to it's lyrical and musical content. What was the albums title? not the band. the TITLE of their first album is what I'm after. |
As the thread originator, I need to answer this before it hit's page two.....
I believe it's Klatuu, 3:47 EST. |
I'm thoroughly disappointed! However, I have to admit- I haven't been contributing to this thread much any more. Used to be a lot of heavy traffic. Anyways, hopefully I can get some interest in trivia again.
Name two lead singers from the band Rainbow! |
Ronnie James Dio and Joe Lynn Turner?
|
That's correct Gboz, Sorry for the long delay in the answer, but once again, my computer is having issues!
|
Alas, it looks like my music trivia thead is dying a slow death. I will try to continue keeping it active as much as possible, but sure could use some help. My computer is still acting up, and I really don't have as much time on my hands as I used to.
Anyways, on to a new question: Name the former drummer for such acts as Black Sabbath, Rainbow, and the Brian May Band who passed away from a tragic car accident in 1998. |
Quote:
Is it Cosey (sp?) Powell?? |
Yes, Cozy Powell is the correct answer- awesome drummer, great loss to the music world. Your question...
|
Yack! lol... Gimme a few, I'll be back with a question.
|

a few? minutes? hours? days? |
*grins* Wasn't sure exactly if I'd need a few hours, minutes, whatever.... lol
Anyway, here it is.... What band did Kerry King of Slayer briefly play for? |
no idea on the Slayer question without a search!
|
i'm gonna say megadeath.........
|
Quote:
|
Yup its Megadeth. Ok, someone else's turn.
|
sweet.............ok
give me the name of the original drummer for Rush before Neil Peart |
John Rutsey
Weird thing is I was just talking about that with someone just recently. He didn't believe Neil was not on the first album. OK lets see who knows their country. Toby Keith had a hit on his first album based on one line from a classic rock song. Name the song & artist. (If you know one, you know the other) |
No takers yet????
Alright the song Toby lifted the line from was a Bob Seger song. Anyone know which one?? |
Like A Rock?
(just a wild guess) |
No, Toby Keith lifted the line "I wish I didn't know now what I didn't know then" from Seger's "Against the Wind"
He turned it into a top 10 hit on his first album. I thought it was pretty interesting how he took one line from a song (and a damn good one it was) and made it into seperate song. He didn't just remake "Against the Wind" He gave the line it's own life. Anyways, I can't think of anything right now, so I'll toss it out to the masses. |
In spite of my horrible track record with questions, I'm all for never-say-die, lol....
So, here goes.... What did Brian May name his first electric guitar, which he made himself? |
Spot?
....... |
Uh... Nope, lol.
|

Tom Wilson currently fronts Blackie & the Rodeo Kings (current hit: Had enough of you) what was his former (super) group? |

still wonderin' if i got the Brian May Q right or not
|

You should know the answer. It is permissable to research within your own collection though. I have been known to refer to old albums to double-check spelling and such. |
