I've heard exactly one of their songs, "Get your Hands Off of My Woman," and I loved it. That one was very hard for me to find, and I couldn't find any more. That was a while ago, and since then I've stopped looking. For all I know they'd be really easy to find now. I hope they take off in the US, if only so lead singers will start sporting cat suits again.

The Darkness are awesome!

You have to get a hold of "I Believe In A Thing Called Love".
Its the greatest song in history!

You should be able to find it on kazaa easily enough

Their CD was released September 16th in the US. It's called Permission to Land. Go check it out.

Thought there was a post on these guys. I love that video. Song is fuckin great. Obviously Queen influenced but am I the only dude who hears maybe a little Rush in there as well? My mom heard a little of The Rasberries but I dunno about that. Song kicks so much fuckin ass haha. It's funny too. And boy do those guys rip it on the instruments! Especially the guitarists.

Crazy

speaking of the guitarist...in the rolling stone this is a little tid bit about the darkness playing at some club in LA and there was a rumor that eddie van halen was going to attend. he didnt show and the guitarist said it was good he didnt because he would have had to hand his crown over to the darkness. is the guitarist that good...i saw the video and the solos were decent...nothing groundbreaking.

Hmm I dunno. I mean they sound like they really know what they're doing but thats a very bold statement right there....I mean it's fuckin Eddie...I WOULD PAY VERY GOOD MONEY TO SEE THAT ONE. Reminds me a Crossroads at the ending where Steve Vai has a guitar showdown with Raplh Maccio (really Ry Cooder playing) shit would be fuckin sweet. I'm sure it would be a good show but Eddie would prolly edge him out....dude has YEARS of experiance.
