Just randomly discovered this group recently, they're late 90s but I'm behind the times.
Wow. This is amazing stuff. Just to give you an idea of what it is, they sound a bit like Pink Floyd, Flaming Lips (sort of), Sonic Youth even... melodically it's even like the Beatles a little bit. I'd describe it as psychodelic and experimental, but without sounding harsh or all that weird.
It's all been sounding really great to me, so I thought I'd post here, see if anyone else has heard this group. If you haven't, and you like the above groups, you might want to check them out. Some good songs are California Demise, Green Typewriters and Define a Transparant Dream... although I've liked everything I've heard so far.

Yeah, they were one of the bands in the Elephant 6 collective of bands. Good stuff.
