Is anyone familiar with John Vanderslice? I've heard a few of his songs on the college radio station, but haven't payed that much attention. He's coming to town next week and was wondering if it was worth checking out.

I saw John Vanderslice with Spoon about a year ago...I suggest checking him out...he's an amazing songwriter...and good live...all of his albums are great...i suggest "Time Travel Is Lonley" but they are all good. If you like him, you should also try MK Ultra, his band before going solo.

Yes, True Crime by MK Ultra is one of my favorite songs, i'd highly recommend any of their work
