Not sure how many of you know this group, but you should take a minute to check out the 5 songs on their website. I think they kick ass.

I saw them play last night (my ears are still ringing), and had the pleasure of meeting them by the bar a couple hours before the show started. Very very nice people. So, because they rock hard and because they are very generous to their fans, I thought I'd post this link so maybe someone here could discover them, enjoy their music, and support them by buying their album or seeing them on their tour. They sound as good, if not better, live.

Wow, you posted this exactly one minute before I logged on to see for responses. It may seem I was sitting over my computer all night, waiting for a response... but I wasn't. Or... was I?

Anyway, the redhed is Marcie Bolen, and for being as hot as she is, she is not stuck up in the least. It was interesting to see them while the opener played; they were just standing in the audience drinking beer like everyone else, and no one really knew who they were, at least people were leaving them alone. I could imagine when they went on stage a few people were probably thinking "holy crap, that hot girl I was staring at is the guitarist of the band I'm here to see."

I just found out about the Von Blondies a week or two ago after hearing C'mon C'mon as the title theme to "Rescue Me." They got a cool sound, kinda different, kinda funky... good stuff

They have been playing C'mon C'mon on the radio quite frequently here in Detroit for a month or two now. I enjoy their music and the entire CD is worth checking out.

yea there a great band, after I herad the song c'mon c'mon for the frirst time I was hooked definatly worth looking into
