Thought I"d share this: me playing drums! First of all. I've had this set for only 3 months and I'm lucky to get 1-2 days of practice for about 30min. Used to play back in high school...in 1986!! So I was trying to do some groves and I cam up with this http://krycheck.iceware.net/downloads/drumpratice.wmv It's not perfect but I was fun! So I'd thought I'd share and get some feed back. Note: Still need to get the tuning right and the cymbals suck!! |

Man that's awesome!! Sounds like music to a fight scene or something. Make more videos of your beats. It'd be awesome if more people could post videos like this. It's really awesome when a drummer goes off and basically makes a song with only drum beats. -Lasereth |

I like it- -and you sure looked like you were having fun -- enthusiasm counts for a lot... |

I have a few different responses for this: As a fellow TFP'er: I think it's awesome that you had the guts to throw this up here. I've gained a ton of respect for you for that. As a listener: It's a pretty cool beat. After listening to it a few times, I could think up some pretty awesome guitar riffs to go with it (too bad I don't play guitar, so I can't compose my musical thoughts in that way). As a fellow drummer: You were slightly off-beat in some areas. Plus, I think you REALLY need to mix it up a bit. Yeah, it's cool that you were showcasing one, simple beat (keeping it simple is key), but for a video as long as it is, I expected some drum fills or at least a few openings of that high-hat. Keep up the great work! |
