First thread guys.
This is my first drumset. I don't want to (and I don't think I can afford to) buy a second set. I love it, and I'm about to change the heads soon. Any suggestions?
Oh yeah, lol BTW, it's a Yamaha Stage Custom Advantage...nothing super but I like it.
The cymbals I'm rocking are all Zildjians:
K Zildjian 20 inch Ride
Avedis Zildjian extra thin 8 inch splash
K Zildjian Dark Think 18 inch crash
Here's what I want to get rid of:
ZBT (yeah, ewww) 18 inch Crash/Ride
ZBT 13 inch Hi Hat.

Also...I wanna get a snare that has nice pop, I'm thinking a small diameter, medium hight PorkPie snare to put it as primary snare drum. I also want the pair of minale timbales from LP (i think its LatinPercussion)to add a nice roll before I get to my mounted toms... I love Latin sounds, plus it'll add some color to my set.
However the next thing I am getting for sure is the heads...and then, a really good Hi Hat, Zildjian of course.
Then when I get enough money, a 16 inch crash for my Hip Hop...
and somewhere in the rather far future I might get my snare and mini timbales... I'll keep you informed...

let's see. If I remember well...
I got the drums themselves(not including hardware) for $600
then... Pearl hardware pack including one cymbal stand plus one hi hat stand: about $120
another cymbal boom stand: $70
cowbell clamp: 30 bucks
cymbal boom add on thing: 50 bucks
splash boom: 30 bucks
drum throne: 80 bucks
Cowbell 30 bucks
My ride cymbal: 230 bucks
My splash: 90 bucks
My crash: 150 bucks
My crappy crash/ride + Hi Hat pack: 150 bucks
So yeah thats about 1,600 dollars right there.
I'm planning of selling my ZBT's though... any beginner drummers wanna buy? lol.
