So i finally broke down and bought an mp3 player so i can listen to tunes riding my motorcycle back and forth to work.

Problem: I now have the capability to listen to almost anything want and i have a case of downloaders block.

I need suggestions-- no rap or techno i like good ole fashion rock and roll

for unique stuff, head over to www.garageband.com, they are mainly unsighed acts (though the guy who lost in that pop idol show has some tracks there) - it's all free stuff, though you might have to sign up for some bands mailing lists to get the tracks.

http://music.download.com/ - also has a lot of interesting stuff as well...

Free Downloads from Amazon

Music Plasma is also really awesome- -you can put in a band name that you enjoy, and it will map it out for other bands with similar styles...

I love Metallica and something like "Shortest Straw" or "Harvester of Sorrow" might do well.

Want something recent? I'll out myself here with my horrible taste that has retrogressed to teeny-bopper: Rock-n-Roll Soldiers "Funny Little Feelin'"

Happy rocking

"kyuss"
and "nebula" are fuzzed out bluesy hard rock that are almost always playing in my car exclusively.
download "Welcome to Sky Valley" from kyuss. best driving cd ive ever bought.
AC DC is good too

There's a lot of fun things over in the thread Bastard Pop; that's been helping to fill my iPod. And don't forget podcasting, that's a whole 'nother way to fill the GBs.
