On the way back from an inspection of a student apartment we saw this beauty sitting on a sunflower that someone is growing. Its taken with my phone so sorry for the quality, but I think its amazing when they get this big. The first summer we moved down here for school I had a big green one sitting in front of my apartment for about two weeks.

Its my new LG enV2. I love it, it has a really neat camera on it. I can do everything from taking black and white pics to cropping the pics on my phone.

Those are such patient bugs. Probably the only animal I can think of that is more patient than a cat. Very nice cell phone capture.

Yay! I too love these creatures. Since taking this first one I have seen and taken pictures of at least three others of comparable size. There is one currently right outside my door hanging upside down, its yellow.
