The Deland Route
 

Went on a small journey through three nearby towns on Saturday - Deland, Cassadaga (an old spiritualists' town) and (briefly) Lake Helen.

it wasn't until this guy tried to lick me and my camera that i realized how thoroughly disgusting a cow's tongue is.*shiver*and he was only a baby.

I've always wanted to do Cassadaga. You make me want to go more.
And I have cow tongue trauma from getting the entire side of my face, from chin to hair line, inadvertently swabbed by a foul-smelling, green-slimed calf's tongue. shudder

There's not a lot to Cassadaga, but what there is is enjoyable. It's very quiet, a very peaceful place. And they really, really, really like rocks there...oh, I'm sorry, I mean stones, uh, no I don't , I mean crystals... :p
(shhh, I got a funny look when I called them rocks)

Haha, that last shot is great. Awesome caption as well. I liked your cow shots and the two above those look plucked right from The Shining.

I first heard of Cassadaga from the Bright Eyes album and I've been intrigued ever since.
