I was thinking of not putting a Christmas Tree up this year because my
family will be out of town and I'm not hosting the office Christmas party
this year but now I'm going to have to because you got me in the
holiday spirit, gump and seamaiden!

Meanwhile, I'm dreaming that my tree will look like THIS one:

Very nice! I'll have to grab the camera tomorrow and grab some shots for the thread.

This is the first year in a long time that I got around to putting up a Christmas tree. It's weird the doldrums of my 20's just made it near impossible to get into the Christmas spirit. It was just another excuse to get wild, drink and stay out all night, yet somehow at 30 I feel strangely compelled by the whole process and am looking forward to a nice holiday.

Wow...well that just about sums up growing old doesn't it?

Its really not spinning fast; the picture was took at a 30 second exposure.
