for 1, not too bad, but i also had a respirator. it's an aluminum foundry, which has a buildup of fluoride dust everywhere... bad for the body.

for 8, it is ice. we had a huge snow storm and the sun had come and melted the snow, causing it to seep into this hallway. it then re-froze in the colder, dark interior

I love the shot of the clothes...just a wall of decaying fabric. It looks pretty F'n cool.
