Washington Under Clouds

I spent some time in the Puget Sound area for Spring Break, and really liked how a few of my pictures turned out.

The first two are pictures from a local pier

These next two were actually taken with color film, but my scanner picked them up as black/whites(maybe so much gray??) and they really intensify the clouds, so I left them that way

These last three are just from different areas around the Puget Sound

nice

is that a trained seagull in the first and last photos ?

i like the composition, you seem to be leading the eye in with bridge and path and fence quite a lot?

Apeman,

A whole stack of crackers does wonders!

I got the feeling like they show they're just a beginning of something - didn't think of it your way but now that you mention it, I did

I get rexes unless I right click and Show Picture. Odd.

Hey, the shots have a good NW feel. Congrats. And nice job taking the gull out of the center of the shot. See, it doesn't rain all the time up here! Yay!

I was there an entire week, and not a single drop of rain. I was disappointed!

DISAPPOINTED?!?!?! What are you....CRAZY???

But seriously, it is a pretty cool part of the country. I'm rather partial to it but then again my PNW opinion is rather biased on the subject. Thanks for the posting your pics!

I come from the barren place where we get rain MAYBE 5-10 days a year. So I was looking forward to some rain- I love it!

Ahhh well, I can respect that. I was just joshin' ya anyway. We see our fair share up here in Seattle. Should have been here over the weekend, plenty of rain then.
