Minimalistic Design

Hi all, I'm new here and looking for a few constructive critisms on some of my work.

i posted a couple of my favorites(subjects were female friends of mine) the other day under a now disfunct account
located here.
First few submitted images

here is some of my latest attempts.

posted in last thread but now with added legs. Thanks BermuDa

The purpose of the images is for them to be used in a computer game my group is doing as a honours computer science Software design term project.

Comments welcome, and constructive critisim even more so.
Thanks

Thanks..
Sadly i don't think i'm going to be able to get legs for (same model but with bat) as he was wearing new black pants with a straight cut..
i will try later however.

Ok, a stop motion animated game with graphics with the lighting quality of these shots would be worthy of a big time hollywood style production. It would make the "spooky" graphics in Doom 3 seem quaint. I think this style would be perfect for a resident evil style game =)

The part I like best about these shots is how the black fades into the background. It would be cool if the guy with the bo-staff had his pants fade like that similar to the rest of the photos.

Wow, these shots are amazing. Really do love how everything fades into black. I really like em all, heh. Probably the last two the most though.

Wow..
Thanks for all the positive feed back
and MORE improtantly all the great Critisim if you hit refresh(incase you have it cached) i 've faded the legs on the man with the staff weapon (skier's suggestion) and really agree it looks A: Better and B: more like it belongs with the other photos.

heh jujueye; i wish i had a studio, hell this isn't even my camera and most of the photos have been taken in mine or my friends bedrooms. I just remove all background elements in Photoshop though. It actualy works out well though as i have a nice over head single light source, and i know where my shadows will fall.

here is another one that i did just the other night.
First off we needed a photo of a 'techie criminal, so we went with the hollywood version of a hacker'

Secondly.. I already know that no sane person wears sun glasses in a dark room but hey.. it made for a nice shot though

Suggestions for anything i can do to it are greatly appreciated.

*note the photo is very dark itself there were only two sources of light in the room monitor and florencent lamp(visable in the shot.) So my options are a bit more limited with this one.

Thanks again

heh .. ya know Bernadette.. you just proved to me the most valueble reason of why i should keep posting here.. a second set of eyes untainted by hours (ok 20 mins maybe :P) of staring at the photo and hand holding it through the stages.. what i'm saying is it all looks fine to me as i everything by heart.. (not to mention that's my computer desk)

The straw comming out of his eye is my swing arm floresent light.. and now that you mention it .. it looks very very odd. I'll either fix it or remove it..

Thanks!
