Farienheit 9/11 Trailer

The funniest part for me at least in the trailer was the John Ashcroft song, it just comes out of nowhere and I found the entire clip from back in 2002, I just find this extremely amusing, perhaps if you have not seen it you will find it as such....

Why the hell did he start singing? Was their a purpose, or did he officially lose his mind?

U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft ended a speech at a Charlotte, North Carolina seminary with a rousing rendition of a song he wrote called 'Let The Eagles Soar'

Ashcroft has been a "singer" for quite a while. I find this less ridiculous than his draping of cloth over the exposed breasts of classical statues in the Capital (or his fear of cats....or his habit of being anointed with oil after gaining a public office...man, this guy is a kook).

Yeah, this guy seriously odd. I'm all for people having their own personal religious beliefs, but sometimes it goes a bit off. He also gets sworn into his positions on a stack of bibles, not just one. The song is pretty terrible though, I wonder what all the reporters reactions were, I know I would have had a horrible time trying to keep a straight face. Those that laughed at him probably got sent to guantanamo, never to be heard from again.

I just saw Farienheit 9/11. The entire theatre broke out laughing when he sung that piece.
