So at the workplace someone told me their Bush sign was stolen or removed from their front yard. Another co-worker told me that it is a federal crime to steal political signs from front yards. Any truth to this? We have a bet on it. Thanks.

It is only illegal, in that you are stealing private property...although some states have ordinance on the books specific to political advertisments.
