Two forms of BC: one too many?

So here's the deal...

How do you feel about two forms of birth control (condoms and some sort of BC)?

My theory is that if a woman is willing to alter her body chemistry (and deal with consequent side effects), but would still prefer to be doubly safe, then a guy should be willing to use a condom. And if he is not willing to ensure his partner's peace of mind, then he should be prepared to not have sex.

Stay scared. Use everything you can. Condom, pill, spermicide, germicide, sock, pillow case, rubber glove... you get the picture.

but yah... i dont think its too much to ask... always better safe then sorry... cuz scares suck!...

Remember, guys, it's a privelege, not a right. Wise words above.

We use two also.
There's no such thing as too much safety.

Would you say spermacide + condom counts as two?

The more (BC) the merrier.

Every little bit helps...
Plus hormonal bc does nothing to prevent STD's.

2 different issues here -

birth control
and
STD's (HIV, herpes, genital warts, etc.)

If you do not want to get pregnant, pills are very effective.

If you do not want to get STD's, abstaine or practice safe sex (use condoms, no oral (cept w/ condom). Remember, herpes does not go away. God forbid HIV. Do not be pressured into doing something that you really have reservations about.

If you dont use condoms and the swimmers find a home, you both end up with a "responsibility", so you are responsible for the birth control. Still a risk, but I am a belt and suspenders man.

BC is such crap totally fucks with girls heads. Moodswings = boo, i think i'm mostly bitching about this cause every girl i know on BC is totally fuct out of her mind, and i remeber they didn't used to be.

Copper IUD is the way to go there.

P.S. biggar bewbs != worth it

insidious_machinae 11-19-2003 02:57 PM

I'm a guy, but I'm wondering how a girl would go about getting a copper IUD if she never wants children?

Seriously, I read BC and I thought Boundary Condition, and I was all "Don't overdefine the equation or it won't be consistent."
