How often do guys masturbate when they have a girlfriend?

I've never understood the taboo about masturbation, and I don't understand why some people have a problem with their partner masturbating, as long as it isn't otherwise interfering with their sex life.

I'll have to echo the women; there's nothing wrong with masturbation. It is, in fact, the only safe sex to be had in this day and age.

When I was with my girlfriend, I honestly didn't have to masturbate much, as she was very accommodating in that respect. But that's not to say I never did; it merely wasn't as common a thing as it is now, when I'm single.

Partners should be happy if their significant others relieve sexual tension in a solo manner; it removes the "gotta cum, gotta cum" paradigm from a love-making session (at least, it always did for me), and makes everything else so much more enjoyable.
