Life After the Pill
 

My wife's been on the pill for almost 16 years. She needs to get off, so I'm going for the old snip snip soon.

My question: Will my wife experience any mood changes when she stops taking the pill? What should we expect?

I'm actually hopeing she'll become a raging nympho... :O)

I'm no Dr. or anything, but having gone off the pill 2x, I can safely say that the transition is not too rough. She will most likely deal with the usuals: longer, heavier periods and more cramping. As for the hornies, I've been ravenous on and off of the pill. :)

I think it depends on the kind of pill. At one point lurkette came off the pill and was suddenly a very, very horny girl. But the pill she's on now doesn't seem to have the same dampening effect as the other one did. We used to joke that the main way it stopped conception was by stopping sex!
