They really need a relationship board on here somewhere, cuz it's not really a sexuality question but I guess it's close enough.
Ladies...it's my first anniversary with my girlfriend and I wanted to know if you have any suggestions of what i could get her or do with her becuase she's making a really big deal about it and I want to make it special.

I'm not a lady but flowers (roses or carnations), chocalates (if she doesn't have weight issues or dislike chocolate), dinner, a romantic walk, and some cuddle time generally works well. Also if you are serious and can swing it then a small piece of jewelery will not generally be unapreciated.

Technically I don't have the plumbing to answer your request but just for the record there's a ladies lounge If you are really really really nice and ask one of the mods of that forum to post your question there you might get a better female only perspective.

My male reaction to this question is that this is really pretty simple but you have to answer a few questions yourslef. Where did you meet? Where did you go on your first date? What is she really interested in say as a hobby? What kind of music does she like? What kind of wine does she drink? Does she have favorite food? If you are going to get something in the material world then get several small things that show her that you've learned something about her in the past year. You really don't have to break the bank to do that either. Good luck...

A dozen roses, or a candlelight dinner would both be good ideas. But a really good way to score some points is in whatever you end up doing, bring in an element from when you first met. Whether it be going to the same place you were at then or if you can remember what you were wearing and wear it again. Think of something that stands out about that time and bring it back.

Flowers...candy...that's all fine but unimaginative...truly what I like on any special day (anniversary, birthday) from my man is anything that seems like it took more than just a few minutes of thinking/planning. As in, plan out a really romantic evening...pick a restaurant that means something, and then surprise me if you're giving me a gift. The main thing is make it obvious that you took time to think about it and it came from the heart - and didn't just do it because you thought you had to.
