My wife and I (recently married!) are interested in investigating online porn dvd rental places... We've rented one from the Good Vibrations store, and while they have nice prices and service and we love their normal store, they just don't have much selection in terms of dvd rental. I've found a website (www.wantedlist.com) that looks really nice and seems to basically be a porn version of Netflix. Anyone have any experience with this outfit, or have any others to recommend?

i'm very suprised netflix doesn't offer porn. i'm sure their business would triple overnight if they offered that.

it's the perfect business model. movies come in plain envelopes and there is no pressure or late fees. i still remember when a-z video called my house and told my mom i was late in returning "butt man goes to rio"

I just heard that columbia house is having a adult program. 12 pornos for $.01 or something like that for the initial deal.
But why rent pornos? Think of all the nasty hands that touched it before you. Its not like after taking care of themselves they wash their hands and put the DVD back in its case.

Netflix did have a adult section at one point, but shed it as they became a bigger more recognized company. I think the amount of complaints and alienation they would get from having an adult section outweighed the possible profits from pervs :P

Well, upon further investigation, it turns out that wantedlist.com doesn't necessarily have all of the titles they show on their website available for rent. Two or three of the specific ones we wanted to get were available for buy only, not for rent, so we went with Maximuff and are quite happy with the selection so far.

I'm not too familiar with the adult-only services, but if you're interested in renting normal movies as well as adult ones, you might want to check out www.greencine.com. They're like Netflix, but they have porn! They also do a cool thing for porn which is streaming video - you pay 2-3 dollars and can watch it right away (or after download) on your computer. They have a pretty good selection, although if you're only into porn you might want to stick with a dedicated service.
