Steelers won't even be the best team in their division; they may not even be SECOND-best.

The Ravens likely would have had a 10-6 record instead of 6-10 if they had Kyle Boller instead of Anthony Wright. Now, they have Steve McNair, with Boller as the backup.

Plus, the defense was fifth in the NFL without Ed Reed and Ray Lewis for most of the season.

They are going to win the division, and even if they don't Cincinnati has as good a chance, if the locker room doesn't explode from the chemistry.

Without going over the whole league, I will say Ravens beat Panthers in the Super Bowl.

I'd say Cincinnati's chances are contingent on Carson Palmer's health. Rehab is going well so far, so fingers crossed that he'll be back and ready at the start of the season. Now, if all of our young kids can stop getting arrested, that'd help too. Because I've grown up loving the Bengals... even through some awful years, I'm sticking to my guns and picking them. Who-Dey! :) As for who I'd think they'd play... no idea.

The_Jazz 08-03-2006 05:04 AM

I'm so sure that I'm going to predict the score, too.

Bears - 24
Colts - 17

Brewmaniac 08-03-2006 05:20 AM

I second the Bear to take it all!

Bears 28, 2 defensive Td's, one AP short yardage Td, one 40+ Td catch by Bradley.

Losers 10

Redlemon 08-03-2006 05:47 AM

I'm looking forward to watching Dallas start strong, then to have TO flame out as usual and bring the whole ship down with him, ultimately leading to Parcells' final retirement.

Bears vs. Dolphins

Glory's Sun 08-03-2006 10:37 AM

The Panthers will be there..

that's the only one I can pick.. and I hate to pick them

I just want my 'phins to do something this year.. something good.

VirFighter 08-03-2006 08:21 PM

I think the Vikings have a lot of good going for them, however I'm not sure Brad Johnson can lead them all the way.. to the playoffs yes, the superbowl, no.

Ace_O_Spades 08-05-2006 08:25 AM

Packers v. Titans!!!!!!!

In a cold day in hell... but I can dream.

Craven Morehead 08-06-2006 09:49 AM

Same here. They're the only team I can give a definite Superbowl nod. I wouldn't be suprised if the Giants did well, though.

Shpoop 08-12-2006 07:07 PM

Dolphinsssssss

coyote 08-13-2006 08:36 PM

Raiders 24
Redskins 21

Packers of course?

Anyone?

Anyone...

Come on... it's possible. Favre has to leave strong

Superbelt 08-28-2006 09:02 AM

Steelers over Dallas.

(btw: Baltimore finishes 1-2 games ahead of Cleveland in the standings after the Balt O-line plays like the pass protect turnstiles they are and get McNair crushed into paste by weeks 5-7)

SAM821 08-30-2006 07:38 PM

I can finally say the Miami Dolphins without sounding like a homer. I think they have a GREAT chance to win the super bowl this year...

My Prediction:

Dolphins - 24
Carolina - 20

well.....I've listened to the "PUNDENTS" (sp?) and I'm changing my pick tp Seahawks vs Colts....with the final score 27-17 ....HAWKS WIN !!!

DATED 9/9/06 XOXOXOO

kurtisj 09-11-2006 07:44 PM

im not going to pick a for sure super bowl line-up but some teams to watch that you might not expect are Philly and Atlanta in the NFC and Baltimore and Miami in the AFC.

green bay is pathetic and sorry but detroit has a better chance than green bay.

kurtisj 09-14-2006 08:35 PM

the seahawks just improved their chances of a super bowl by picking up Deion Branch, adding another reciever threat makes their offense even more potent

bobw 09-29-2006 10:19 PM

chargers - bears

bobby 09-30-2006 06:33 AM

big game for early season.....sunday nite seahawks(3-0) vs bears(3-0)

....xoxoxoo

If detroit has a better chance of winning then green bay then why has green bay's games been fairly close losses?? Detroit fans will be wearing paper bags over their heads again in no time, just like they did 3 years ago.
No I don't expect Green bay to even make playoffs, but they won't be the bottom of the NFC North. Although I wish theyd win it all!! :)

As for my prediction, I'm going with Indy vs. Chicago with Indy winning by a big point margin.

hambone 10-09-2006 02:55 PM

I think I saw a raiders somewhere up there.....yikes...

Bears and someone, bears win

Bobaphat 10-09-2006 09:32 PM

I'm going to cross my fingers and go with the home team. Go Seahawks!

TonySpilotro 10-12-2006 06:02 PM

At this point I think we can all agree the Bears are the team to beat (in the NFC or AFC). They will face Baltimore, Indy, or Denver in the Super Bowl and if they continue on their current pace I really think they're unbeatable. They still have a horrible taste in their mouth from the asskicking they took at home from Steve Smith and the Panthers in last year's playoff game, are confident without being too cocky, and are poised to get it done. Bear Down...

Strange Famous 10-21-2006 09:53 AM

Im gonna say...

Pats vs Philly

Sweetpea 10-27-2006 09:32 AM

The Bears and Seahawks.

Hawks are gonna win this year. :)

sp

kaptain_kwanza 01-17-2007 05:15 PM

im going to predict the cleveland browns and the washington redskins

bobby 01-17-2007 07:04 PM

time to get serious....final predicts before the nlc & alc games.....

The_Jazz 01-18-2007 06:20 AM

Bears vs. Colts, but the AFC game goes into overtime, and the Bears only win by 4 (it's going to be really cold on Sunday).

38-35 Bears over Colts.

indebut 01-18-2007 11:33 AM

tough call as I see both championship games going down to the wire, but I think it's Indy over the Saints in the SB. Manning finally gets his ring.

souzafone 01-20-2007 07:16 AM

Pats defeat Indy then NO handily becoming the most hated successful franchise ever.

indebut 01-20-2007 09:48 PM

nah..that title will always belong to the Yankees
