The first race of the 2008 F1 season is about to begin.

Does anyone else here follow the sport? If you do, who are you behind, what do you think will happen during the season, what are your opinions on the rule changes?

What an interesting race. Attrition was a bit high, don't you think?

I'm so happy the F1 ditched traction control. Lots of good battles this year I think.

Hamilton off to the best possible start! But I don't think we saw the best of Ferrari so should be another down to the wire title race.

After yesterday's performance by McLaren and Ferrari I think we can safely say that McLaren gained very little inside information from the Stepney incident.

The Ferrari is, as ever, fast and unreliable. I really like the additional driver input, on the basis of this race it really looks like it's going to make this season MUCH more exciting.

Well... the stuff about Mosley coming out sounds a bit rum (I assume amongst fans people have seen the stories that came out the weekend?)

Especially when you keep in mind who his father was, he doesnt really have much scope for that kind of thing. (not that holocaust based sex games are ever really gonna look ok for anyone)

No more San Jose GP. It's going back to Laguna.

That's Champ Car and unfortunately its not going anywhere. Its no longer going to race. Some of the teams are now running in the IRL. Some have disbanded. The Champ Car DP-01 chassis will race at the Long Beach Grand Prix and then no more. Such a waste.
