So, is Penn State any good this year? Does Nebraska's win mean anything? I have been hoping that they would get their act together and start playing like they did in the 90's. I am a big 12 fan and would like to see them back in the hunt.

How strong do you think Nebraska is this year?

Penn St. is not good this year. Nebraska's D is pretty decent, but they won't be able to keep up with teams like Kansas St. and Texas. Missouri might give them some trouble too. Nebraska just can't score enough this year.

If Nebraska could bring their offense into the 21st century and show some creativity and get rid of Jamal Lord ( 4 of 6 for 60 yards with 1 int no TDs against Penn State) they could have a decent team. Right now they are beating the teams they should. The defense seems decent enough so far in the season.

I agree. Nebraska might get lucky and beat Mizzou, finish the season with just 2 losses, but I wouldn't bet on it, they'll probably find a way to lose another game.

Their defense looked good against OSU and PSU.

As for their offense, they gotta pass the ball more! isnt that what the new offensive coordinator promised?

I dont think they're up to par with the rest of the big12 powers yet.
