The Sports Guy is back

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2...simmons/040514
Bill Simmons is back fulltime writing for Page 2. Thank God! Page 2 has really started to suck and they need the Sports Guy back, because he brings the teh funny. He knows when to leave a sinking ship (Kimmel's show) when he sees it.

Sports Guy= the best sports-related columnist out there.

I think the sports guy is hilarious, but he seriously has to let this Darko thing go. So the Pistons might have fucked up, their team is still one of the best in the league. They also hosed the Celtics on that trade at the end of the year. How do they let one of the best teams in the East get one of the top 15 players in the league in Rasheed and end up with Chucky Atkins. The Pistons also got Mike James out of the deal, who is just as good as Chucky backing up Chauncy. If you want to read a longer rant, go here SG rant

Like I said, I think the SG gives some good laughs, but get over the Darko thing.

Go Pistons, beat the Nets.

Mention the name Sam Bowie...Benoit Benjamin...every Knicks draft from the last 10 years....

Darko is there.

You passed on Carmelo for Darko....you get laughed at.
You passed on Wade for Darko...you get laughed at.

As soon as he plays more than 5 minutes a game and contributes more than high fives when the Pistons leave the court, we'll stop laughing.

I have kind of been hoping that Jimmy Kimmel would have Doug Christie on the show and have a gag where he threatens to kick TSG's ass. I mean for all the crap that Simmons give Christie - and he deserves it - he is still a way bigger dude than Bill Simmons.

He could come on and freak out on him. Then TSG tries to weasel his way out of it and then the gig is up. That would be funny.

I don't think Christies wife will let him fight anymore.

The Sports Guy's dry humor towards the Red Sox always makes another losing year easier.
