MIA: Dream Job Winner
 

So, has anyone seen that dude who won ESPN's dreamjob actually anchor Sportscenter since winning the job? I heard he had one brief spot a few days after he won, but he's been MIA since....what's the deal with that?

Yeah.. I wanna know what's up too!

Even Simmons wrote something in his latest ramblings: "Have they found Mike Hall's body yet? "

Haven't heard a peep about his noticable absence either...

I've been thinking the exact same thing for like the last month.

But there has been one nagging thing in the back of my mind that stopped me from posting here about it.

He was a college student, and the school year is going to be finishing up everywhere pretty quickly. Give him 2 weeks in Bristol for a quck brush up and hopefully we'll start seeing Mike Hall in place of Steve "KICK SAVE AND A BEUTAY (repeat 50x)" Berthamune A.K.A.: Worst sports anchor not just now, not just ever, FOREVER. I'd start a fund for the removal of his vocal cords but I'm afraid of getting so many donations I would actually have to go through with it. Not that it would be a bad thing, but it would just take a week out of my summer and he isn't worth that. What was this topic about now?

Oh yea, Mike Hall. I'll expect we'll see him soon.

He's getting 95k for the year in salary and isn't on the show. Hmmm... I want a job like that!

you never know.. ESPN may have worse rookie hazing rituals than the actual sports they cover.

Maybe he's getting some more polish at the Bristol School for Sportsanchors.

Like Jimmy said (minus the demonic hatred), probably just finishing up the school year.

He goes to Missouri, so it isn't as though he's right down the road and can do SC all the time.

Yup, he goes to Ol' Mizzou, but is graduating/graduated. He told the local paper that he wanted to finish up school before heading out to Bristol, so I would say we should be seeing him on the air anytime now, considering graduation was a couple of weeks ago.

I would take Mike Hall messing up and ad-libbing every night over Steve "I suck ass so bad the only reason I'm on is Jaffe lost a bet to someone" Berthamune.
