Did he get a raw deal or did he get what he had coming?

If you do not know he said that Jason Kidd's wife needed to be slapped for doing everything and anything possible (ie her young kid) to get on the camera.

He was given two chances to take it back. Not one, but two, "hey, bob, now that you cooled down, you wanna take it back?" And he didn't. He should of - but only because of the abuse history of the Kidd family.

It is pathetic with that damn kid. And her. She married a star, she is not a star, and she should protect her kid rather than whoring him out to every 'insider' show there is. Her and the kid get more airtime than the New Jersey Nets.

Rumor is Kidd will not re-up with NJ cause of his wife's desire to move to someplace closer to an 'it' scene.

Bob Ryan said he made a mistake. He's paying for it in spades. No columns, no tv appearances, no nothing for one full month. It's a shame, he's interesting to watch, and knows sports. If we could only suspend her and the kid....

Bob Ryan is a blowhard. He got what he deserved and I bet if given the chance Joumanna(sp?) could slap the heck out of his pompous ass.

He made a big mistake...and now he's paying for it. He got exactly what he deserved, but I think he should still apologise to Kidd's wife (I'm not even going to try to spell her name) personally.

Bob Ryan got fucked period. He was being a smart ass. So what!! As far as I'm concerned the bitch does need slapped. Hell, she would probably like it. She's married to a fucking wife beater. Jason is a great ball player, but a complete asshole for beating that broad and she is a moron for staying with him. All it proves to me is she is a star fucker. Correct me if I'm wrong, but after Jason beat the shit outa his wife we wasn't suspended without pay, was he? If I remember he went and had some damn counseling.

Bob Ryan gets suspended without pay for saying something and Jason barely got a slap on his wife beating wrist. Now someone plese tell me that isn't a fucked up double standard.
