Illinois just Totally WTFpwned Wake Forest the "1#" basketball team is defeated. The Illini Guards just moved to fast for their players and Wake forest played like that they didn't know how to work as a team. Of course I'm a raving Illini fanboi.

Illinois looks to be light years ahead of every other team in college basketball.
I'm going to see them in person this weekend when they take on my Hogs and I'm looking forward to it. I usually try to stay optimistic and believe my team will pull off the upset, but for this one if they stay within 20 points I'll be happy.

Shows Wake didn't deserve to be ranked so high. The Illini are good, but you can't suck that much against any team as a #1.

I think Wake was finally exposed -- they have a great offense, but struggle to defend great teams. They'll win their share of games, but unless they figure out a way to not give up 80 or 90 to great teams, they'll make an early exit from the ACC and NCAA tournaments.
